You must first pay the applicable fees(see Payingapplicable fees below for more information). Once paid, you will begiven a receipt and you can then apply by mail, in person, or designate someonein Jamaica to act on your behalf.
To apply by mail
You must send all of the following to theSenior Superintendent of Police at the Criminal Records Office, TechnicalServices Division (See Contactinformation below for the address):
a completed applicationfor Police Record (PDF, 203 KB)
a cover letter indicating why you need apolice certificate (immigration)
2 recent passport-size photographs
Must not becertified or embossed
a copy of the front bio-data page of yourpassport
Must be certified
a complete set of fingerprints
These are to be signed and stamped by thepolice or a reputable agency in your country of residence
The name of the person taking thefingerprints must be clearly stated on the document
a receipt for payment of the applicablefees
a prepaid return courier airway bill
