TasksInclude:

identifyingtraining needs and requirements of individuals and organisations

settinghuman resource development objectives and evaluating learning outcomes

preparingand developing instructional training material and aids such as handbooks,visual aids, online tutorials, demonstration models, and supporting trainingreference documentation

designing,coordinating, scheduling and conducting training and development programs thatcan be delivered in the form of individual and group instruction, andfacilitating workshops, meetings, demonstrations and conferences

liaisingwith external training providers to arrange delivery of specific training anddevelopment programs

promotinginternal and external training and development, and evaluating thesepromotional activities

monitoringand performing ongoing evaluation and assessment of training quality andeffectiveness, and reviewing and modifying training objectives, methods andcourse deliverables

gathering,investigating and researching background materials to gain an understanding ofvarious subject matters and systems

advisingmanagement on the development and placement of staff, and providing careercounselling for employees
