Mainduties
Education policy researchers, consultants and program officers perform some orall of the following duties:
Conductresearch, produce reports and administer education policies and programs
Evaluatecurriculum programs and recommend improvements
Developthe structure, content and objectives of new programs
Conductstatistical analyses to determine cost and effectiveness of education policiesand programs
Provideongoing professional development, training and consultative services toteachers and other professionals throughout the public and private sector
Developteaching materials and other resources for program delivery
Deliverpresentations at conferences, workshops and symposia
Maysupervise the work of other education policy researchers, consultants orprogram officers
Mayadminister specialized testing and assessment programs.
