Supervisorsin this unit group supervise and co-ordinate the activities of hotelaccommodation service clerks, casino workers, reservation clerks and othertravel and accommodations workers not elsewhere classified. They are employedby service establishments throughout the public and private sectors.

Mainduties
Accommodation,travel, tourism and related services supervisors perform some or all of thefollowing duties:
Co-ordinate,assign and review the work of hotel, motel and other accommodation servicesclerks, casino workers, reservation clerks and other travel and accommodationsworkers not elsewhere classified
Establishwork schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work unitsor departments
Resolvework-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
Hireand train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Requisitionsupplies and materials
Ensuresmooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange formaintenance and repair work
Mayperform the same duties as workers supervised.
